Ranting away
April 28, 2008
I am about to explode. I hate it when people complain with ulterior motive. Just the other day, two guys ( I think they are lecturers in a school) and start screaming at the top of the lungs about how lousy my shop is. And after ranting on and on ‘loudly’ when there are customers around, ended off by saying they are going to complain to the landlord and force him not to renew our lease….
I heard from the grapevine that this two guys are planning to open a shop.. and they are eyeing my shop space…. isn’t that gross, with a capital G? To think these are so called lecturers. I hope their principal and students see them for what they are… hee hee… Got the whole incident captured on video anyway.
Shoplifters
April 22, 2008
Today’s my daily routine to “YAYA” store to check stocks. To my horror, I found empty cardboards lying at our counter… empty, as in the products were gone and the packaging left on the shelving. Does that mean it’s stolen? Another sales promoter actually said she found one empty packaging card stuffed in between her products (she’s selling cards, by the way).
To all you shoplifters out there, do you know the efforts spent on marketing, getting and distributing the products? If I do catch any red-handed, you can be sure I will report to the police. NO SECOND CHANCE - I don’t believe in it.
I wonder what can be done to reduce shoplifting… I count the ways:-
- Get a promoter
- Use security tags - but in this case, it’s useless ‘cos “YAYA” doesn’ have sensors. We, supplier bear the brunt of shoplifters
- Beg the security to be more vigilant
